Christina Schünemann

Christina is a dedicated business leader whose experience spans multiple functional areas, including IT, sales and merchandising, brand marketing, human resources, logistics and operations.

Christina lived in Europe for 18 years, working for internationally known retail brands. At The Gap, she pioneered new store concepts and organizational structures, led market expansion and served on the core team that opened the retailer’s German market. She also focused on European operations, leading technical and special projects, including the Euro currency implementation for 270 stores.

Christina also led luxury brands Dunhill and Smythson through significant changes, creating customer-centric environments and establishing unique omnichannel shopping experiences, while managing the day-to-day business of achieving double-digit growth year over year at both companies.

As a consultant, Christina supports businesses through rapid growth and transformation, working with them to identify new direction and strategy, strengthen culture, cultivate leadership and team alignment, and define sustainable processes in the United States and globally.

Christina thrives in complex, ambiguous situations, where defining strategy meets expertly planned execution. Her success is marked by her unwavering commitment to the retail consumer and ability to build change strategies that engage and inspire leadership and teams, create sustainable processes, and ensure that operations support company objectives.

Christina has a passion for the arts and is an advanced viola player in the Mill Valley Philharmonic.
