    Mary CarryerMary Carryer

“I enjoy the intellectual satisfaction that comes from collaborating with clients to identify, frame, and resolve complex business issues.  While I was an executive at Wells Fargo, I found the partnering style at CCI to be an invaluable resource.  I like the fact that so many of our clients find real value from their CCI engagements and use us for subsequent engagements.  The firm’s approach to its team of consultants, providing autonomy and flexible work assignments, also fits with my lifestyle at this point in my career.”

Mary Carryer’s career in the financial services industry spans thirty years and three continents.  She is known for successful collaborations at all organizational levels, from the strategic planning stage to the detailed, hands-on implementation phase.  She has extensive international financial services experience, from being a key member of a successful management team that turned around a major Australian bank, to overseeing technology applications for a network of banks in the South and West Pacific, to serving as a major U.S. bank’s Asian branch network group manager, supervising sites in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, and Seoul.  She has lectured on best practices in the financial services industry and easily adapts solutions that were successful in one market to another.   Mary enjoys citizenship in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.  She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Concordia University in Montreal and an MBA from University of California, Berkeley.  Deeply involved in the not-for-profit sector, Mary has served on the boards of eight non-profits and rolled up her sleeves to provide desperately-needed strategic planning guidance for three of those organizations, increasing their fundraising effectiveness and developing transparent financial reporting systems.  Her other interests include international travel; the business, politics, and culture of France where she has a second home; and hiking.
