    Ashok MoorthyAshok Moorthy

“At my core, I enjoy solving problems—taking things apart to improve them.  Working at CCI provides me with the opportunity to work with different people in a variety of sectors, helping them accomplish their objectives, leverage business opportunities, and improve their operations.”

Ashok Moorthy recently transitioned to the consulting world after 26 years at Wells Fargo.  He joined the bank as an analyst and, over the years, gained expertise in Technology, Operations, Brokerage Services, Finance and Controls, topping off his Wells Fargo career as Executive Vice President and Group Technology Manager.  As a consultant, Ashok has quickly found his stride collaborating with clients to identify workable options and execute pragmatic solutions.  Running financial organizations and achieving greater efficiencies are the hallmarks of Ashok’s career, having controlled risks and reduced operating costs while managing 1,000+ staff in large technology and operations departments.   He has experience in managing rapid change through two exceptionally large bank mergers (First Interstate Bank and Norwest Bank), achieving 30-40% cost savings and significant staff reductions for the combined organization.  His international experience includes working with offshore vendors and establishing captive sites.  Ashok received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Bombay and his MBA in Marketing/Finance from the University of California, Berkeley.  He successfully earned a series of broker licenses that allowed him to manage licensed Brokerage sales staff and administer the Operations and Finance functions at Wells Fargo.  Twice a year, Ashok and his wife travel together to their respective homelands of India and Greece, spending extensive time with relatives and exploring neighboring countries in Asia and Europe.
